BASIC LOSS PER SHARE |
The basic and diluted net loss per share and weighted average number of shares of Common Stock used in the calculation of basic and diluted net loss per share are as follows:
As the inclusion of shares of Common Stock equivalents in the calculation would be anti-dilutive for all periods presented, diluted net loss per share is the same as basic net loss per share.
Basic loss per share is computed on the basis of the net loss for the period divided by the weighted average number of shares of Common Stock outstanding during the period. Diluted loss per share is based upon the weighted average number of shares of Common Stock and of potential shares of Common Stock outstanding when dilutive. Potential shares of Common Stock equivalents include outstanding stock options and warrants, which are included under the treasury stock method when dilutive. The calculation of diluted loss per share as of December 31, 2021 does not include 4,084,545, 9,215,475 and 4,000,000 of shares underlying options, shares underlying warrants and contingent shares, respectively, because the effect would be anti-dilutive. |
